Bobby’s Favorite Burritos

Ingredients

½ cup shredded carrots
½ cup chopped broccoli
½ cup chopped cauliflower
4 ounces low fat cheddar cheese, shredded
¼ cup fat free ranch salad dressing
½ teaspoon chili powder
4 whole wheat tortillas
1 cup lettuce, torn into small pieces

Utensils

Medium-sized Mixing bowl
Mixing spoon
Shredder or grater
Liquid measuring cup
Measuring spoons
Dry measuring cup
Cutting knife
Cutting board
4 Plates

Directions

  1. Wash hands with warm water and soap.
  2. Have an adult shred the carrots and chop the broccoli and cauliflower on a cutting board with the cutting knife. Have an adult shred the cheese.
  3. In the mixing bowl, combine the carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, cheese, ranch dressing and chili powder. Stir until mixed well.
  4. Wash the lettuce and tear into small pieces.
  5. Lay each tortilla on a plate. Spoon ¼ of the vegetable mixture and ¼ of the lettuce in the center of each tortilla.
  6. Wrap each tortilla around the vegetable mixture.
  7. Enjoy!
